Lighting the way since 1989 The Contrast team has been manufacturing and supplying top quality lighting products to the North American market since 1989.

1989	Contrast Lighting makes its entrance Michel Lecluze, a dedicated craftsman with a passion for lighting products, founded Contrast Lighting. Drawing on his thirty years of R&D experience and a flair for distinctive, European-inspired lighting designs, he leads the development of the company's first halogen and recessed fixtures.
1990	Recessed production is in full swing The company makes a profitable breakthrough in Ontario and Western Canada. Demand for Contrast products is so high that we expand our facilities and set up a work area for plating operations.
1994	Enthusiasm for Contrast products grows all across North America New presses and shipping areas are added to boost productivity and speed delivery. Contrast Lighting starts manufacturing its own magnetic transformers and MR16 sockets to improve quality control and expands its recessed line to meet growing demand.
2002	The Contrast product family grows even more Contrast introduces hand-blown and pressed glass shades. Manufactured in-house in new, state-of-the-art facilities, these products feature a unique combination of European design and craftsmanship and North American quality.
2005	Contrast: A name you can trust Contrast Lighting is now a well-established firm with a continent-wide reputation for excellence and innovation. The workforce at our manufacturing facility in Quebec, Canada, has grown more than tenfold since 1989 to keep pace with increasing demand and maintain plant flexibility and high production capacity. Contrast owes its success to a dynamic and professional team dedicated to quality and customer service.
